Thank you BDO for 11 years of sponsoring our Sprint Triathlons

BDO has been sponsoring all the Sprint Triathlons on Curaçao since april 2000. BDO has decided to  change her sponsor strategy for the coming years. Per 2012 BDO will sponsor the Curaçao Clini Clowns. Curaçao Triathlon Association wants to thank BDO on behalf of all triathletes on Curaçao for sponsoring 22 Sprint Triathlons in the last years and making these events possible.

All athletes have to register, pay and sign the disclaimer Thursday or Friday evening (13+14 oct) before the race between 18:00 and 20:00 at the parking place of BDO Castorweg 2

Make sure you are familiar with the course.
Although there are volunteers to help you, it is the athletes own responsibility to follow the right course.

There are over 20 road junctions/intersections in the course. If we would put a volunteer at every crossing, it would take over 20 volunteers waiting for you lonely somewhere on the course for over one hour. That's why we will mark the course with signs and ribbons.

Training is possible during the opening times of Playa Porto Mari: 09:30 - 18:00. We suggest you do the mountain biking course at least one time before the race.

Age Group Awards

Age group awards will be given out to the top three in the following age group categories.

• Male     16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50 & over
• Female 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50 & over.
• Relay    14 and over

Age is base upon the year the participant is born in. It will be determined by the age the participant has on December 31st 2011 (2011 minus year of birth)!
